System Design

MILCO engineers offer remedial system design services to clients that provides them with an integrated understanding of the physical, chemical and hydrogeologic properties of a site together with sound engineering principles required to arrive at a cost-effective cleanup solution. MILCO engineers employ pilot tests to select the specific equipment to be incorporated in the design, as well as to develop operation and maintenance guidelines. The design takes into account the flexibility needed to de-emphasize the operation of some portions of the remedial system in favor of others as cleanup progresses. Operational costs can thereby be apportioned to areas of the site where further cleanup is most needed.
