LUST closure

MILCO engineers assist clients in closing leaking underground storage tanks (LUSTs) in-place or removal from the site for recycling. Assistance is provided to clients in sampling of soils and excavation of any contaminated soils at the time of tank removal, to confirm whether any remediation may be necessary, following tank removal. MILCO engineers offer recommendations to clients to assist them in deciding whether to abandon underground tanks, where costs are prohibitive or unnecessary. Guidance measures will be offered to clients to ensure that such tanks are inaccessible to prevent accidental future leaks.
