Hazardous Waste Disposal

MILCO engineers assist clients determine whether waste is to be designated as regulatory hazardous waste as defined by the process that created it or the characteristics of the waste as directed by the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). Clients are advised that listed hazardous wastes, generated by a specific process, cannot be recycled or reused. MILCO engineers conduct laboratory analyses of the ignitability, corrosivity, reactivity and/or toxicity of waste materials to enable their identification as hazardous. Once a determination is made that a waste is a regulatory hazardous waste, clients are offered guidance and advice regarding the need for proper permits for the storage, treatment or disposal of the waste.
