Plans, Specifications and Bids

MILCO engineers are qualified and experienced to assist clients with detailed drawings and standard specifications, essential in soliciting accurate cost estimates for each phase of a project. MILCO engineers undertake the preparation of bid documents, including plans, specifications, a bid schedule and a draft contract, on behalf of their clients, to ensure that all contractors have the same basis for submittal of a bid. MILCO engineers will assist clients by comparing bids against the required level of effort to confirm whether there may be any outliers, and will obtain clarifications where needed. MILCO engineers will also assist clients by returning unresponsive bids, scheduling interviews with qualified, responsive bidders and recommending final contractor selection.
