Design of Septic Systems

MILCO engineers partner with clients in areas not served by publicly-owned treatment works to design on-site wastewater treatment systems with consideration to maximum wastewater flows and the protection of surface water and groundwater quality. MILCO engineers will conduct percolation tests to ensure an adequate infiltration rate to avoid discharges to the surface. Such tests will also confirm sufficient residence time within soils to be protective of groundwater quality.
